Highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor The Axion XQ’s 384×288 @ 17 µm thermal imaging sensor with NETD 40mK ensures perfect detail recognition even under the harshest weather conditions when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences remain clearly visible during rain, fog or cold mornings, even in the most challenging conditions for a thermal imaging camera. Lightweight and robust magnesium alloy housing The housing, made of a lightweight magnesium alloy, offers high structural strength and durability. The monocular’s light weight makes it an ideal choice for long outdoor trips where a lightweight but capable unit is needed. Detection range of over 1000 meters A powerful F38/1.2 objective lens, combined with a 384×288@17µm highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor, provides exceptional detection capabilities. A standard 1.8-meter-high object can be detected up to a distance of 1,050 meters in complete darkness. Image Boost Technology Pulsar’s proprietary Image Boost Technology consists of software algorithms designed to increase image clarity and overall level of detail. Image Boost results in a sharper, more detailed field of view and enhanced object identification capabilities.
