Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 thermal binoculars

Merger LRF XL50 offers the next level of thermal imaging experience. The image generated by the new 1024 x 768 pixel thermal sensor has high definition and rich detail. It is ideal for uncompromising identification of antlers . Silhouettes, anatomy and behavioural features of animals are easily visible, clearly distinguishable.

Variable magnification from 2.5-20x provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD sensor ensures a high level of image detail across the entire magnification range. The zoom changes gradually in 2x increments or continuously for a customised FOV / magnification ratio for each specific situation.

3 levels of sensitivity amplification
Selection of the signal gain level combined with new filtering algorithms with fine brightness and contrast adjustments offers the hunter great opportunities for long-range observation in various weather and temperature conditions. Amplification setting helps define the animal’s trophy features and provides a clear display of objects and background in the field of view.

Fast aperture F50 / 1.0 germanium lens
Germanium F50/1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range. Because of the high precision manufacturing of the optical elements of the lens, the image generated by the Merger LRF thermal imaging binocular sensor stands out for its clarity and detail.

Robust magnesium alloy housing
Merger LRF is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy body is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shock, drop, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes heat from electronics and increases the consistency of device operation during prolonged observation.

Stream version 2. Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices This opens up a wide range of options, including software updates for wireless devices, real-time image transfer from the device to the smartphone screen, publication on social media of photo and video content captured by the device or transferred to messengers, remote control of functions of digital devices and access to the latest news from Pulsar. In addition, registered users receive 64GB of cloud storage for photos and videos captured with the device.

Built-in photo and video recorder
The Merger LRF has a built-in video recorder. Merger LRF’s internal memory can store hours of video and tens of thousands of photos. One press of a button is all it takes to take a picture of an interesting scene or start recording video. The footage is copied to a computer’s hard disk via a USB-C port. The Merger LRF owner has a free 16GB disk space for storing photos and videos captured with the device in the Pulsar cloud storage. Simply install the stream vision 2 mobile application, log in and connect the device to a smartphone via Wi-Fi.

Dual Wi-Fi waveband support 2.4 / 5 GHz
In Merger LRF thermal imaging cameras, the standard frequency range of smartphone connectivity via a 2.4GHz wi-fi channel is supplemented by an effective range of 5GHz. The 5 GHz connection offers better bandwidth, faster data transfer rate, noise immunity and improved connection stability, resulting in more productive and easier thermal imaging camera operation with a smartphone.

High-contrast HD AMOLED displays
While the Merger’s HD AMOLED screens deliver sharp, high-contrast, vividly coloured fields of vision, AMOLED technology ensures a flawless, smooth, high-resolution image with power savings.

A selection of 8 colour palettes
With a choice of 8 colour palettes, users can observe their field of vision more effectively, allowing them to optimise the unit for specific tasks and respond to changing observation conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are optimal for object detection, Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the probability of recognition and identification. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Violet are best suited for long observation at night.

IPX7 immersion waterproof rated
IPX7 waterproof for protection against heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. The unit is designed to operate flawlessly even after immersion in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.

Operation at extreme temperatures -25 to +50°C
Housing, power unit, optics and electronics of Merger LRF are designed with respect to applications in a wide temperature range. Fusion ensures reliable and effective performance in freezing temperatures down to -25°C.

Proximity sensor for covert use
Observation in the dark requires you to be stealthy so that hunted animals are not alerted by your presence. Going standby with the Display Off function is a common way to avoid backlighting the eyepieces. To simplify this task, Merger LRF has a built-in proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch to prevent backlight exposure in the dark. When the device is taken away from the eyes, the proximity sensor turns off both screens and when the device is brought closer, both screens turn on and provide excellent image quality.
