The Hunting Game – board game for the whole family
€45,00
For the whole family, “On, on, to the merry chase!”
J. P. Sauer & Sohn revives a classic from the 1950s in its original form.
Many hunters remember this game from their own childhood, when they went on exciting hunting adventures with friends, siblings or parents. Munich artist Fritz Gartz developed the original in the 1950s and infused it with so many loving details that the 66.5 x 50 cm game board reveals a complete hunting landscape – a trip to another time.
Up to six hunters prowl the game board in search of magpies, partridges, hares, deer, skuas, deer or even bears. But beware: you must not disturb a doe with calf, nor the eagle owl – and high in the mountains, where you hunt chamois and ibex, the danger of a fall into the depths lurks…
This game is not only a pleasure for young hunters from 6 years old, but also for old timers and hunting apprentices. In short: this hunting game should not be missing in any hunting family or hunting cabin.
J. P. Sauer & Sohn is proud to breathe new life into this classic and wishes you lots of fun playing!
Description:
The start is in the village square. Players roll dice and move their playing piece around the game board. If a hunter lands on a square with a letter marker and a shooting line, he may try to shoot a piece of game.
But … only on a roll of five or six! If the shot succeeds, the player receives the corresponding game token with the number of points on it.
The game ends once all hunters have returned to the village square.
Whoever has accumulated the most points with his hunting booty is crowned hunting king.
