Two-layer fabric with an adjustable fit
Wet grass, dense vegetation, snow, or soft forest soil are common during a hunt. Especially on longer routes or in varying ground conditions, the area where the pants meet the boots can quickly become a weak point. The Blaser Eik leg gaiters are designed precisely for these situations and reliably keep moisture and dirt away from the lower leg. In winter conditions, they prevent snow from seeping in from above. The two-layer main fabric, made of 100% polyester, features a polyurethane membrane and is designed to be completely waterproof. The construction is complemented by a PFC-free C0 DWR treatment that makes the fabric water-repellent. Areas subject to particularly heavy wear on the bottom are reinforced on the inside and outside with durable Oxford fabric and are designed for contact with vegetation, gravel, or wet ground. In winter weather conditions, they prevent snow from entering. The knee-length fit fully covers the lower leg and can be precisely adjusted.
A front zipper with a Velcro strip makes them easier to put on, and the top edge can be individually adjusted for width. The length-adjustable instep strap and an additional lace closure ensure that the gaiters stay securely on the boots and don’t slip off, even while moving. This keeps the fit stable, even when the pace, terrain, or weather change over the course of a hunting day. As part of the HunTec collection, the Eik gaiters are designed to effectively complement existing clothing in varying conditions. They reliably cover the lower leg and ensure that pant legs and boots stay dry, even when ground conditions and humidity change multiple times during a hunting day. In doing so, they target precisely the area where moisture and dirt most often pose a problem while hunting.
