The MAUSER Original Hunting Dagger is a traditional hunting instrument and was developed for culling game. In certain situations, a hunting dagger is preferable to a firearm – for example, when game, tracked and trapped by dogs, needs to be killed and a shot would be too risky for bystanders or nearby animals. The crotch guard provides additional safety during use.

The dagger has a double-sided sharpened blade of 440C steel with blood grooves and a slightly rounded shape that facilitates penetration into game and prevents the blade from getting stuck in bone.

440C is a stainless steel with excellent hardness, corrosion resistance and cutting ability. The full-tang design – where blade and handle are one piece of steel – provides exceptional stability.

The grips are made of sturdy G-10 composite material, ergonomically adapted to hunting tasks and provide a reliable, slip-free grip.

The knife comes with a leather sheath with belt loop.
