The new shape of the MinkPolice X allows for easy installation and operation in the field. Simply attach the included metal holder to the trap and simply slide the MinkPolice X in and lock it in place. This setup allows for easy removal of the trap alarm to replace the battery or when trapping season is over, without tools! The MinkPolice X can be secured to the metal holder with a padlock (not included). The trap alarm can be securely closed with just one click in a waterproof manner.
In addition to the 2G/GSM network, the latest version of the proven, reliable fall alarm connects to two additional networks, NB-IoT and LTE/CAT-M1. These equip the fall alarm well for the future and ensure stable reception in remote areas even when the networks are still under development. Modern multi-network technologies also enable further signal range and extended battery life. Because the new networks are still under development, the MinkPolice X trap alarm has the option of using the proven, established 2G/GSM network as a fallback network to maintain a stable connection during the transition phase.
